GARTER LANE ARTS CENTRE ARE SEEKING EXCITING, INNOVATIVE AND FRESH SUBMISSIONS FOR THEIR 2013 PROJECT FOH SPACE
FOH Space is an opportunity for students, recent graduates and emerging artists to exhibit new work in Garter Lane Arts Centre’s front of house area to run alongside our 2013 exhibition programme in the gallery.
FOH Space is an exciting chance for experimentation and development in a historic and active space. Selected submissions will have an invaluable opportunity to exhibit their work in the heart of Waterford in Garter Lane Arts Centre’s front of house with experimentation, incubation, development and investigation encouraged in the space. Submissions should take into account the built environment as well as the requirements of the arts centre as a busy space with staff and visitors in the arts centre, gallery and art work will need to be appropriate and suitable for the space. The location for exhibition is Garter Lane Arts Centre front of house area and or external enclosed courtyard. The space incorporates a courtyard, box office, central staircase, with the gallery, theatre and male and female restrooms located just off the foyee. Garter Lane Arts Centre is a listed building and no drilling of wall permitted. Selected work will need to be ready for exhibition between February- December 2013 and all mediums are welcome.

Successful and unsuccessful artists will be notified on thereafter. There is no need to contact the gallery to check the status of your entry.
