CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: ARTIST IN RESIDENCE MAYNOOTH UNIVERSITY

The National Youth Council of Ireland, on behalf of its project partners the Dept of Applied Social Studies, Maynooth University and Kildare County Council Arts Service, invites Expressions of Interest from qualified individuals and organisations to undertake an Artist in Residence project at the Dept. of Applied Social Studies, Maynooth University.

This Artist in Residency project aims to develop a programme of engagement in a visual arts or digital arts practice with students of the Youth and Community Studies undergraduate BA Programme and postgraduate MA Programme. It aims to explore the potential and value of high-quality youth arts practice from a participant perspective; to develop youth work students’ confidence to utilise arts experiences in youth work; and to connect these meaningful creative experiences to their curriculum and emerging youth work practice.
