The process of making botanical art requires patience and forbearance – personal skills that are particularly challenging in today’s fast and furious world. In this three-day introduction to botanical watercolour painting, award-winning artist, Mary Dillon, will guide you through her process of capturing the very essence of the plant – its beauty, frailty, strength and intimacy, in a scientifically truthful manner. This workshop is suitable for newcomers to botanical art, and also provides lots of new tips for more advanced artists.
The Botanical Watercolour Painting Workshop will be held in Waterford city, on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April 2019.
