From the 8th – 10th of October Garter Lane hosts the sketch and situation comedy of the Bilberry Goats accompanied by talented Waterford singers.
‘In their third visit to Garter Lane Theatre, the Bilberry Goats keep alive a great Waterford tradition of sketch and situation comedy. Like the great Monty Python comedy team, the Bilberry Goats captures real life situations, extracts the individual personalities involved and presents a somewhat coherent picture that could be true but may seem ridiculous, funny and sometimes poignant’. – Garter Lane
New sketches include, a typical School Day, the Arthur Brothers and Davy Furey, Waterford Council 2015, Mossie the Magician, a GAA dressing room on match day, The Old Folks Choir practice, Hangover Monday.
The Bilberry Goats will also perform a special tribute to the late Denny Corcoran with one of his sketches ‘On the Way to the Oscars’ with his sons Tony, Paul and guest appearance by lifetime friend Nicky Cummins.
