Bike week 2019 is on at the moment and there are some great FREE events for people of all ages with a number of events also including bike hire so there is no excuse not to get up, get active and get cycling!

Mountain Biking | Portlaw Woods | Colligan Woods
An hour of off Road Mountain Bike Fun at Portlaw Woods on Sunday 23rd June & Colligan Woods on Saturday 29th June, where participants will meet at Portlaw Church Car Park at 7 p.m. or Colligan Woods Car Park at 11 a.m..
The event is for Over 16’s.

Try the Trishaw for over 50’s | Monday 24th June
Walton Park, Abbeyside, Dungarvan will host an opportunity for over 50’s to avail of free 5 minute spins on a Trishaw from 10:30 am – 12 pm.
Feel the wind in your hair as you are driven around by qualified pilot.
Enjoy a free tea/coffee afterwards.

Family History Cycles | Tuesday 25th June
Meeting at the Durrow Greenway Car Park at 6:30 pm please join in for a guided history cycle on the Waterford Greenway.
FREE Bike Hire Available!
This event is a great opportunity to learn all about the history of this majestic route.

Evening Cycle | Thursady 27th June
Meeting at 7 pm at Waterford Greenway Car Park Carriganore with a Short Cycle from Carriganore to Suir Valley Railway & a Longer Cycle from Carriganore to Kilmacthomas.

Street Velodrome | Sunday 29th June
Come and test your cycling skills in the People’s Park on the world’s only pop-up Street Velodrome with expert coaching from Pro Riders.
Open trials will commence at 10 am and there you can register for the afternoon competitions including the Kids series, the Next Generation and the Adult Rider’s Cup.
The event will finish at 6 pm.
