AUTHOR EVENT: ELAINE FEENEY IN CONVERSATION, ARDKEEN LIBRARY

Elaine Feeney, author will be in conversation with Fiona Foskin, Executive Librarian in Ardkeen Library on Saturday 11th May at 3pm.  Free event but booking is essential, phone 051   849755 to book your place.

Elaine Feeney lectures at the National University of Ireland, Galway where she is also a founding member of the Oral History Project.  She has published 3 poetry collections including  The Radio was Gospel & Rise. 

Her novel As You Were  won the 2021 Dalkey Book Festival emerging Writer Prize, The Kate O’Brien Prize, and the Society of Authors McKitterick Prize.  It was nominated for Irish Novel of the Year, shortlisted for the Rathbones-Folio Prize, and featured in many “Best of 2020” lists.

Elaine Feeney’s second novel, How to Build a Boat, was longlisted for the 2023 Booker Prize.  Elaine Feeney in Conversation with Fiona Foskin is an event not to be missed.
