ARTS COUNCIL MESSAGE

Maureen Kennelly, the director of the Arts Council, has described the disruption, broughtKenelly about by the Covid-19 Virus as deeply unsettling. She said the arts sector has lost 19,000 days of paid work by this coming Friday. In an open address on the Arts Council website she said the Council is committed to ensure the “arts ecology survives” and that representations are being heard and and enabling the Council to advise the government accordingly.
