Artist David Fox will give a special talk and walkthrough of his solo exhibition 𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵 on Saturday 7 June, 2.30–3.30pm at GOMA Gallery Waterford, X91 F2XP – don’t miss it!

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the artist about his work, inspirations and reflections. David will speak about his approach to contemporary landscape painting, his fascination with urban environments, and the questions his work raises about the boundaries between street art and gallery art. He’ll reflect on the subjects that draw him in—walls layered with graffiti, street art, weathering, and signs of human presence—and how painting these spaces becomes a form of visual documentation.

Many of the places and murals he paints have since been demolished, painted over, or redeveloped. His work captures these fleeting, textured moments of urban life before they vanish—preserving what might otherwise be lost.

This is a rare chance to engage with a contemporary Irish painter, explore the stories behind his work, and gain new insight into his artistic practice.

Free entry, no booking necessary – all are welcome!
