Shannon O’Reilly is a writer from Waterford. A two-time winner of the Sean Dunne Young Writers award. In 2016 Shannon was chosen to take part in Ireland’s playwrighting festival, Scripts.
Since then she has completed her master’s in Comparative Literature in Utrecht and is happy to be home and grateful for the opportunity for a room to write.
Shannon is currently working on a piece entitled “A Long Way from Home” in which the lives of two friends, separated on the cusp of adulthood attempt to reconnect years later and navigate their lives together once more.
Shannon and company will present a rehearsed reading of A Long Way from Home followed by a short Q&A.
