30 hours for Waterford Youth event has almost fifty local artists, writers, directors and performers bracing themselves for the upcoming 30 hours for Waterford Youth Arts event in Garter Lane. Members of the local arts community will come together for 30 hours to write, create and rehearse a variety of short plays, film, poetry, music and dance. They must be ready to stage their work within the 30 hours when they perform in Garter Lane on Saturday 31st of January. Help us to raise vital funds for the Waterford Youth Arts 2015 programme. downloadLeading members of Waterford’s theatrical and creative community are coming together in January to take part in a special fundraiser for Waterford Youth Arts. The event will provide local people with a great night of entertainment. The evening will showcase the work of some of the best local adult actors, writers, directors, dancers, choreographers, filmmakers and singers as they get together for a unique event. Work will include a wonderful mix of short plays, performances, film, dance, music and song, poetry and all kinds of unexpected characters and creations. Artists involved will have spent 30 very intensive hours creating, writing and rehearsing for these unique performances as some of the finest creative minds in Waterford get together to support Waterford Youth Arts. Early booking is essential.

Please note that all money raised from this event will support the Waterford Youth Arts programme for 2015 as the organisation continues to facilitate young people to participate in creative activity. Promoting youth social inclusion, self-expression and youth development.
