2016 ARTS GRANTS AWARDS

Waterford City & County Council Arts Practice and Venue Grants 2016

Waterford City & County Council awarded conditional Arts Grants for 27 projects at the April 14th Waterford Plenary meeting. The Council also recommended that for two of the categories, that weren’t awarded, workshops are convened for the specific applicants (details to be announced later). Those applicants are then invited to re-submit stronger applications or new applications for adjudication.
A venue grant for six organisations was also passed.
The Arts Service is now writing to all applicants with details and feed-back. Successful applicants will also receive terms & conditions for drawing down their grants.

An interesting read to see how the 2016 Arts Grants have been distributed. Wonderful to see so much happening in our own county and such support available! Does anyone feel that more support could be granted or are there areas still in need?
