The 17th Waterford International Film Festival is currently Open for Submissions and the Regular Deadline to enter is 1 week away . (16th June 2023)
Since the festival opened its doors for this season in March, we have been receiving an incredible range of projects from across the globe. Filmmakers from Ireland, USA, U.K., Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Australia, Ukraine, Taiwan, Switzerland, Sweden, Romania, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Norway, Netherlands, Japan, Estonia, China, Austria, and Argentina have all submitted their work. This diverse mix of international talent truly reflects the global appeal of the Waterford International Film Festival.
The festival has an Open Call for Submissions for it’s 3 Annual Competitions in Short Films, Creative Photogrpahy & Short Screenplays.
The festival is scheduled to take place from the Mon 20th November to Sun 26th November 2023 with a series of online short film presentations and in-person events taking place from Friday, 24th November to Sunday, 26th November 2023.
Our online screenings will be hosted by Filmocracy.com, a leading platform for film enthusiasts. Their user-friendly interface will allow you to enjoy the festival from the comfort of your own home. Additionally, our in-person screenings and events will take place at the prestigious House of Waterford Crystal, providing a unique and immersive experience for attendees.
