Continuing on from the Autumn/ Winter course, you will begin by revising the basic figure drawing methods and techniques, and then progress to understanding and practising more advanced skills and anatomy.
Drawing the human figure from life is perhaps the most challenging subject an artist can face. In this 10-week course, you will learn the classical approach to life drawing, following a manageable step-by-step procedure and slowly unravelling this complex subject matter. It will provide you with a good grounding in the structure and anatomy of the human body, an understanding of how Old Masters approached the figure, familiarity with working with a live model every week, and many basic drawing skills.
