The ArtLinks partnership of local authorities Arts Offices in Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Wexford is pleased to announce that it has awarded €110,000 to artists in the South East across a broad range of art forms including music, visual arts, literature, theatre, film, street arts & spectacle, traditional arts, circus and multidisciplinary practices. These bursaries for emerging and professional artists are supported by the Arts Council and they provide professional development opportunities and support for artists who are resident in the four counties.
The Arts Offices would like to thank everyone who applied and look forward to the successful recipients undertaking their research projects, mentoring, courses and workshops in the coming months. More details about the successful awardees to be shared in the coming weeks.
The Waterford recipients are: Blawnin Clancy, Dungarvan. burke, Waterford city. Sarah Lincoln, Ardmore. James Merrigan, Waterford city. Áine Ryan, Ballymacarbry. Anita Halley, Tramore. Darina Clancy, D’Loughtane. Elizabeth Archbold, Tramore. Megan Maher, Ballindud and Niamh Swanton, Dunmore East.
