Ungrounded is a site-specific piece devised by SETU Theatre Studies second-year students in response to Susan Connolly’s current exhibition GROUND (two-unfold).
Connolly’s paintings and processes are reimagined and regenerated with, through, and on the body in this performative response.
Ungrounded also takes inspiration from Sarah Long’s essay, ‘Carving Out a Space’, Melissa Anderson’s poem, ‘Housing Shortage’, and the past histories of the Waterford Gallery of Art site.
The audience is invited to move around and explore the space throughout this thirty-minute performance.
