The 3rd annual ‘WET’ exhibition. ‘WET’, a phrase borrowed from the secondary art market, refers to new or recent works & this evenings exhibition features a line-up exemplifying the current practice of emerging artists throughout Ireland. The show features, among others Gemma Fitzpatrick, Sarah Wilson, Jane Doran & Pascal Ungerer.

The launch night begins at 8 pm accompanied by wine reception.
“WET” will comprise of works which define new Irish emerging art. The exhibition will feature artworks created within the last year from across the wide spectrum of artistic disciplines.
“WET” is brought to you by the Hive collective with the support of Waterford City & County Council, The Arts Council of Ireland & VAI. Special thanks, as always to Hives founding artists, Andrew Kenny, Brian O’Sullivan, & Natasha Edmondson, Arts Officer, Conor Nolan & Head Librarian, Jane Cantwell.

Hive Emerging (est. 2008) is a not for profit arts space dedicated to the emerging arts. The arts space is run by artists for artists focusing predominately on group activities which competently provide artists with exposure, experience, networking, accreditation, income & sales. Hives Strength in Numbers strategic policies & management structure is the guiding principal of our organisation. The Venue functions through a competitive group operating policy throughout every level of its management, staff, & volunteers. This policy ensures Hive is always as strong as its strongest members.
