The Waterford St Herblain Cultural & Language Exchange is an Exchange with the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture (MJC) in La Bouvardiére, St Herblain, Nantes.
Every 2 years we invite 25 guests to stay with families in the Waterford area and partake in a programme of activities designed to entertain our visitors and also to integrate them into Irish daily life. Hence plenty of opportunities to chat!
This is an entirely voluntary community effort. The French films are our main source of funds to finance the visit of our French guests. We also receive a small subvention from the Town Twinning Committee and sponsorship from some very kind supporters.
