Waterford Healing Arts Trust (WHAT) will present acoustic trio The Kalimbas as part of its Healing Sounds programme in the foyer of University Hospital Waterford (UHW) on Monday 23 September from 1:15 to 1:45.  Admission is free and all are welcome.  Healing Sounds in the Foyer is a programme of monthly live music performances which aims to promote the positive relationship between music, health and wellbeing and to reduce stress and anxiety for patients, visitors and staff. This programme is kindly sponsored by AIB Ardkeen.

An ensemble of cousins from Waterford and Kilkenny, The Kalimbas are well known for their finely tuned vocal harmonies and their ability to bring a room to silent rapture.  With Cathy Forristal and Cliodhna Lily Gahan on vocals, and Damien Kehoe on guitar and vocals, expect haunting melodies and sweet sounds to filter through the busy hospital environment.
