Dungarvan Jam Club is the ultimate weekly band jam session for second level students. Presented by Music Generation Waterford, Jam Club is a chance for young musicians to meet, jam and learn from music industry professionals on Monday evenings in Dungarvan Music Hub.
Who is it For?
Drummers | Guitarists | Piano Keyboards | Singers | Songwriters | Music Creatives
Age: 13 – 18 YEARS
Young Musicians must have at least one year or more playing experience on their main instrument.
Young Musicians must be in secondary school.
What will you be doing?
Meet other young musicians interested in jamming.
Experience playing in a band with other young musicians of similar level and ambition.
Learn from a team of professional gigging musicians, Conor Clancy & Chris O’Sullivan.
Learn how to form a band and perform in a band.
Work on songs and arrangements.
When is it?
Starting: Monday 31st Jan 2022
Session 1: 6.45pm – 8pm
Session 2: 8.15pm – 9.30pm
Venue: Dungarvan Youth & Community Centre (X35 HN59)
Cost: €50 per young musician for 10 weeks Jan 31st – April 11th
Please note:
Musicians will be grouped into a band according to their level of playing experience and each group will be allocated a session time.
- There are only 14 places on this course, they will be filled on a first come and instrument basis.
