Set in 1970’s San Diego, Newscaster tells the story of the city’s number one anchor and his mismatched Channel 4 news team. However, it’s a turning point in history, and feminism is soon to hit the male-dominated news room. Enter an ambitious female news anchor, with strong opinions and an even stronger drive. It’s all a joke to the news team, until their macho world begins to crumble around them, and then… it’s war.
Based on Anchorman, Newscaster stars Caz Butler Kelly and introduces Gavin Walsh in the lead roles. With great characters, a script full of memorable quotes and tongue-in-cheek comedy, Newscaster is sure to get you belly-laughing. A great start to any night out!
