Fógraíonn Comhairle Contae Chorcaí agus Graffiti Theatre Company, le tacaíocht ó Éire Ildánach glao amach ar dhrámadóirí, ealaíontóirí agus amharclannóirí a oibríonn as Gaeilge, le bheith coimisiúnaithe agus meantóireacht a fháil chun píosa taibhithe gairid a scríobh agus a léiriú do pháistí. Déanfar an píosa a chur ar láthair ansin i roinnt leabharlainne contae agus áiteanna eile ar fud chontae Chorcaí in 2022.
Gheobhaidh an t-ealaíontóir roghnaithe meantóireacht agus tacaíocht ó Graffiti lena n-áirítear saineolas ar scríbhneoireacht agus léiriú i nGaeilge do pháistí ó Stiúrthóir Comhlach Graffiti, Síle Ní Bhroin.

Calling theatre makers, writers and artists interested in working as Gaeilge: A commission for young audiences by Cork County Council & Graffiti Theatre, supported by Creative Ireland

⦁ Would you like to see your writing performed in libraries and other venues for the children of Cork county?
⦁ Do you have an idea in development which would benefit from time, support and mentorship?
Cork County Council and Graffiti Theatre, supported by Creative Ireland, announce a callout for playwrights, artists and theatre makers who work as Gaeilge, to be commissioned and mentored to write and produce a short performance piece for children. The piece will then be performed at a number of county library settings and other locations throughout Cork county in 2022.
The chosen artist will be mentored and supported by Graffiti including expertise in as Gaeilge writing and performance for children from Graffiti’s Associate Director, Síle Ní Bhroin.

Applications will be assessed by a panel representing Graffiti Theatre and Cork County Council. The commission will be awarded on the basis of artistic merit and feasibility to deliver an excellent piece within the timeline, budget and with the performance locations in mind. Please note, we will not be in a position to provide in-depth feedback on individual applications.
