In this live online One Day Workshop, participants will learn about materials, basic brushstrokes and techniques used for painting grasses, flowers, trees and mountains. Sumi-e is the Japanese word for the Art of Black Ink Painting. It is a unique art form using only black ink, handmade paper and a special brush.
Participants will be emailed the Zoom invitation an hour before the Workshop. Also included: online access to pre-recorded lesson on Sumi-e materials and proper care of Sumi-e brush (from date of registration through Workshop date).
