Déise Prints is a new fun interactive print making workshop for kids ages 8 and up!
This printmaking workshop will explore printing techniques, and the children will work towards producing their own artworks to take home.
The children will be encouraged to work in a fun, playful and creative way, while discovering the endless possibilities that printmaking offers. They will be introduced to the concept of print, and will explore in an imaginative way using line, colour and pattern Participants will have the opportunity to design and print their own t-shirts, as well as produce a series of one of a kind original prints which will teach them more about Waterford City’s Viking history.
A collection of illustrations, references and source material will be available to provide inspiration.
All other materials will be provided.
