Central Arts & The Waterford Improv Society are happy to present the chance for you to get involved in a brand-new Improv Workshop with veteran improviser, Chris Wilmers.
Week 1: Introduction to improvisation and some simple Yes And exercises, free scenes and some interesting warm ups and exercises.
Week 2: Physicality and Mirroring. Using physical actions and ways of moving to start a scene.
Week 3: Emotion and Status in a scene. Learning how to guide the choices you make on stage with your partners.
Week 4: Character Choice. Finding your character through physicality and emotion.
Week 5: Getting to grips with word choices and word association.
Week 6: Short Film / Group Games. Finale: A showcase of the skills you have learned throughout the workshop in a two-part show with Chris and another professional Improviser.
