Waterford City & County Council's Arts resource site
Waterford City & County Council’s Arts Practice and Venue Grant applications will be opening in the next couple of days. This year the Arts Practice Grants application has migrated to An Post’s Licenses.ie. It will mean that you will be able to sign up to the system and it will keep your base details on file for future applications over the following years.
We have followed advice from a wide ranging Waterford festivals and events survey and have laid out the application form accordingly. While we can’t mitigate against all glitches inherent in a new format – we do intend to be able to act quickly on any that are raised. The process for this will be through conornolan @ waterfordcouncil.ie with the subject matter ‘Application Advice required’.
A full ‘walk-through’ will be posted here on the format of the new application system. There will be links to it from the application form on Licences.ie. In the meantime it would be a good idea to re-read the Arts Plan and Criteria required for fulfilling your applied for project.
The Arts Practice and Venue Grant applications season will be open until September 27th. Adjudication in October and, fingers crossed, it will go before Council for the November meeting with announcements that month or early December 2019.
Arts Venue Applications will follow shortly.
