SUMMARY:ALGINATE CASTING WORKSHOP WITH SEIKO HAYASE AT GOMA WATERFORD
DESCRIPTION:Goma Gallery of Modern Art. Saturday 18th and Saturday 25th November 2023 from 11:00 a.m., to 1pm.\nSeiko Hayase is a multidisciplinary artist based in Cork. She was part of GOMA Waterford’s 2022 programme as the gallery’s Connect 5 Awardee with her show World In Between. GOMA is delighted to be welcoming her back as she hosts this workshop, which will be a fun and relaxed introduction to alginate casting.\nAlginate casting is a quick-setting sculpting method that allows casts and moulds of the body to be easily made.\nThis workshop is built around the theme ‘Things and Hands’.
