DESCRIPTION:Joan Clancy Gallery until 24th June 2023 11.00 a.m., to 5.00 pm daily\nNiall MacMonagle wrote in the Sunday Independent, June 11, 2023 “Daly’s paintings capture the dramatic and rugged coastline of his native Waterford, from Newtown Head, through the Copper Coast Geopark to Clonea Strand.\n“Land, sea and sky glow in the sun and the viewer is the only human presence in these beautiful empty shore and seascapes.”\nIvan grew up in Ballinroad, Dungarvan and graduated with a Degree in Printmaking from Limerick School of Art & Design; his work forms part of national and international collections.\nHe has exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy and Royal Ulster Academy annual exhibitions, and throughout Ireland, the UK and in Singapore. Daly was a contestant in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2015.\nIvan Daly’s Fuaim na Farraige –Coastways is open 11 -5pm daily until June 24 and is well worth a visit.
