DESCRIPTION:\nGarter Lane Wednesday 11th – Saturday 14th May 2022\nIt sees a group of teenagers – silenced and controlled by a censorious society – discover a new world of feeling and freedom outside the classroom, with beautiful and devastating consequences.\nSpring Awakening is about change. Change within yourself, change within others, and change within time. “Purple Summer” is an important symbol for the allusion of time- for it is a flower that blossoms every summer. Time passes, flowers are planted, blossom, and then they fade away.\nThe hit musical is directed by David Hennessy and features choreography by Michelle Condon , design by Paul Barry, costumes by Avril Musgrave, lighting by Craig Cunningham, sound by Jason Fallon, and musical direction by Jimmy Brockie.\nThe show will play the week of – Wednesday 11th May 2022 until Saturday 14th May 7.30pm sharp, with tickets on sale on March 15th at 11.00am.
