WRITER’S INCUBATION 2019

The Old Market House Arts Centre, Dungarvan, March 22nd, April 26th, May 24th, June 14th, Sept 20th, Oct 25th, Nov 22nd, Dec 6th 2019, eight sessions on Fridays at 10am – 1.15pm & 2.30pm – 4.45pm

old-market-houseLani O’Hanlon [writer] will be the group facilitator and explains “This year- long Writer’s Incubation is aimed at those who would like to immerse and support themselves with the focus, intention, gentle discipline and enthusiasm to sustain a consistent writer practice using observation, reflection, memory, embodied sensuality, nature, intuition, space, time and awareness.

Lani teaches creative writing with the Arts Office, Waterford City & County Council, the Waterford Healing Arts Trust, The Waterford Teacher’s Centre and she is the Writer in Residence on the annual Molly Keane Writers Retreat, Ardmore.

Participants will be asked to keep two notebooks; one of which for new writing and a reflective diary of inspirations, breakthroughs and reflections on your creative process throughout the year.

Midway through the course an opportunity will be made available for each participant to avail of one to one mentoring session. It is expected that each participant will have a body of work completed by the end of the year.

Overall fee €800.00 with writers living within Waterford City & County Council’s administrative area can avail of further special subsidised rate of €560.00.
