Electronic is delighted to announce Ian Dalton, Ikeaboy and Travis Bickle!
Electronic is delighted to announce our next event with a monster lineup of waterford talent starting our night off is Ian Dalton, a guy who has honed his skills on 2 1210’s over the past 20 years and staying true to his roots he plays a blend of 90’s techno electronica with a twist of the house music sounds that makes you feel your back in the Crowbar Club in Chicago in its heyday of the 90’s before styles genres and attitudes took over dance music.
Second up in the bill is a guy who has already headlined a show at electronic, the ikeaboy (Damo Tubbs) he is ever creative and always developing his sound. The ikeaboy’s live sets are a spectacle or innovate sounds pushing the boundaries or his hardware setup coupled with the ableton live. I is a mash of beautiful electro rhythms and beats. Be sure to listen out for his tracks GZ, Rustbelt and Yamoto are absolute stompers.
The night’s headliner is Travis Bickle (mark white- neckSNAPPER-King Kong Company) Mark under his DJ alias Travis Bickle, took an extended hiatus from doing gigs in Waterford after having a residency with the Waterford super club night the MUSIKLAB in The Forum Waterford from approx 2002-2006. Travis was responsible for the first sounds of Musiklab cd volume 1 being one of the first nightclubs in ireland to release an annual mix CD in his time at Musiklab. Travis supported the likes of Marco Carola, Umek and Ben Simms but the nights that he really stood out was when he was allowed free reign to finish a night out which he always did in style. Saturday June 2nd is going to be an exceptional journey back in time to the sounds that filled the Waterford music scene from 95-2005!
Doors are at 10pm – ID is required.
