St. Patrick’s Gateway Centre will play host to Katie Kim playing alongside alternative folk band The Willows
Katie Kim is the pseudonym of Irish singer Katie Sullivan, who performs slow core, ethereal, ambient folk/pop. Her third full length album entitled Salt was shortlisted for the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Irish Album of the Year in 2017. Katie has toured the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium playing sold out venues throughout. She has also played Union Chapel in London and played shows in New York and Canada.
In The Willows are an Alternative Folk 6-piece hailing from the Southeast of Ireland. This group excel at blurring the lines between folk, traditional Irish, pop and rock genres to create their own ethereal, heart-warming and aurally fulfilling sound. After this, their only Irish show of the year ITW are travelling as an official showcase artist to the Folk Alliance International Festival in Kansas.
