Singer/songwriter Billy O’Dwyer Bob will be performing at the Coastguard Cultural Centre in Tramore on Friday the 16th of June at 8:00pm.
Based in Cashel, Co.Tipperary, Billy received the ‘songwriter of the Year’ for 2012 at the Tipp FM Radio country Music Awards. He launched his debut album ‘The Time Has Come’ to a standing room only audience at Bru Boru Cultural Centre in Cashel, Co.Tipperary in 2002.
His influences range from Irish songwriters such as Percy French, Johnny McEvoy, and Christy Moore to country folk legends such as Willie Nelson, John Prine and Johnny Cash. Billy’s own music is of a country folk style with a traditional flavour.
