SONIC DREAMS FESTIVAL FUNDRAISER

Central Arts, Waterford – 30th April @ 9:30pm

Tickets €12 (early bird €10)

Sonic Arts Waterford (SAW) are thrilled to announce our first promo event of 2017. This year will see our 5th edition of the festival and promises to be the most exciting and experimental yet. SAW are thrilled to work with Central Arts for what will be a memorable evening of live electronic music.

Dave Mono
Dave Mono, the acclaimed project from Cork’s DROKKR moves back and forth between bass-driven electro, punchy techno, and even dips its toes into some acid tracks every now and then too. In a live environment, the percussion and synth work meanders into experimental territory, layering itself densely while being bullied into order by meaty kick drums and machine-nurtured snares.

Cailín
Waterford native Cailín Power has been playing her particular brand of driving techno for the likes of Subject and District 8 under her first name. She has found herself sharing line-ups with some of her heros (such as Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, Robert HOOD Detroit, Paula Temple, Neil Landstrumm & Levon Vincent to name a few) and playing major festivals and headlining gigs around the country. Not only is she is seriously dedicated to the art of DJing and vinyl collecting, she is an avid producer, with her first vinyl release forthcoming in May.

Mantle
MANTLE – Born on a dark cold evening in October 2014!
Mantle is an exploration in sound, conscience and space. Exploring soundscapes from Industrial, Electro, Techno, E.B.M, Gothic, Darkwave and Experimental. We take influence from: Life, Space, Experience, Industry, Consumption, Humanity, Exploration, Technology.

Tickets: Early bird tickets available from Central Arts, Mick MiXile Shanahan, Frank Whelan and Saturday January at €10.

Tickets will be €12 on the door on the night so get them early!
