MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTS EVENT

Focus Ireland Logo LandscapeThis year Focus Ireland is celebrating the 30th anniversary of changing lives and making voices heard.

As part of Culture Night, Friday the 18th of September we will be presenting a multidisciplinary arts event in St. Patrick’s Gateway Centre. The event will feature a photography exhibition, mosaic artworks, installations, spoken word / movement / drumming performances.

All pieces have been created by and will be performed by Focus Ireland customers and are based on their interpretation and experiences of homelessness. A number of the artists will be available on the night to speak about their work and experiences.

The event is a joyful expression of the importance of home.

Reception: 6pm – 6.30pm
Talk on Homelessness in Waterford: 6.30pm -6.45pm
Spoken Word: 6.45-7pm
Exhibition & interactive drumming and movement sessions 7pm – 8pm
