Waterford City & County Council's Arts resource site

logo‘Glimpses’, a One Act Play, will be performed by the Waterford Intergenerational Group under the directorship of Martina Collender, on Friday 11th September at 5pm and Sunday 13th September at 3pm in Wyse Park, Johns Lane, Waterford as part of the Waterford Harvest Festival.

The Intergenerational Group consists of people of all ages, from the younger to the older generations brought together by St Brigid’s Family & Community Centre and the Inner City Community Youth Project with funding from Waterford City & County Council Arts Grant Social History Programme.

‘Glimpses’ gives an insight into life in Waterford for all ages from the younger to the older generation. The Play explores the assumptions and perceptions of ageing as well as highlighting the contribution which all ages make to our local community. Finally, the connections across generations which have blossomed through this Project will leave a ‘feel good’ factor for future generations in Waterford. The event is free and family friendly.
