White Collar Boy with Martin Roche (Get Down Edits)White Collar Boy

White Collar Boy are a two piece electronic act from Dublin by way of Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, where they first met in 2011. The duo were quick to merge their creative endeavours and haven’t looked back. With three solid releases under their belts and a live show that has seen them perform at Berghain and London’s Oval Space, they’re currently putting the finishing touches to their first LP, due later this year.

Support comes from Martin Roche, one half of local heroes Get Down Edits.

The electronic duo of Aisling Browne and Michael Heffernan are currently working on their live show to showcase their debut self-titled EP due for release in May 2015. The “Cut Once” EP consists of five tracks which will feature in the live show. In addition to these they have also been composing & constructing tracks specifically aimed at a club/festival audience.

Both visually and sonically this is one show that is not to be missed!

We Raise Bears with Daithí Glas (In The Willows)We Raise Bears
Friday 22nd May @ 9pm

Dublin-based We Raise Bears make their first headline appearance in Waterford this May, ahead of releasing of their debut EP later this summer. With the band fast becoming known for their live performances described as intense, emotionally-charged and raw, an equally noticeable approach to song-crafting reveals a penchant for provoking lyricism and curiously arresting arrangements.

Support on the night comes from the wonderful Daithí Glas of In The Willows.

Sounds Of System BreakdownSounds Of System Breakdown
Friday 29th May @ 9pm

Sounds Of System Breakdown find the fine balance between rock dynamics and electro sounds with aplomb. Aided by spacious production the large majority of their songs contain taut indie-rock guitars and precise rhythms imbued with deft electronic touches. The beats are mechanically processed even though they’re played live which lends that post-punk edge to proceedings and helps mesh everything together. The clip-clop rhythm and synth-bed of single ‘Neon Contrails’, and the grimey synth shaker ‘Dark Chocolate’ are good examples, as is the experimental vibe to instrumental ‘Silverfish’ built on marimba-style melodies that at once conjures up The Knife and the likes of Nosaj Thing, Soulwax, Ladytron and LCD Soundsystem.

Moscow MetroMoscow Metro
Saturday 30th May @ 9pm

Described as post punk revival/shoe gaze, they take inspiration from every aspect of life including films, writers, art; the band’s influences are diverse, from The National to Blade Runner, Walt Whitman to The Cure.

“All the ingredients are here. In terms of length, tone, lyric and delivery it really is quite simply as close to perfect as you may see from a debut EP.” – Live And Die In Music

“With a sound that has made Joy Division legendary… Moscow Metro are not a poor imitation, but a sequel.” – AMBLO.de
