Artists Bursary Programme 2015/16
Roscommon County Council Arts Office is now accepting applications for Artists Bursaries 2015/2016. Further details and application form are available on:
The bursaries provide financial assistance towards the professional development of individual artists under the following 2 schemes –
1. the Individual Artists Bursary
2. the Tyrone Guthrie Residency Bursary
This bursary programme is designed to further the development of individual artists, from any discipline, for any purpose that will demonstratively contribute to an artist’s development.
Among such purposes, the scheme may be used to offset the expenses of the following:
Participation in ad-hoc education such as mentoring, research or short-term courses.
Development of new work for exhibition, publication or presentation.
Participation in conventional part-time or full-time education where other sources of public funding are unavailable.
Contribute to the removal of existing barriers to an artist’s development.
Artist in Schools Programme 2015
Roscommon County Council Arts Office is seeking artists to take part in the Artist in Schools Programme 2015. Further details and application form are available on:
We are looking for artists who have experience in delivering high quality arts experiences for children and young people and who are interested in working collaboratively with the selected primary school.
Please note that the successful applicants will be required to undergo the Garda Vetting procedure.
