Waterford City & County Council's Arts resource site

Acro Studios are delighted to announce the opening of their exhibition taking place on December 5th, 7pm at 15 Bailey’s New Street

Acro is an exciting, new studio/exhibition space accommodating 10 Waterford based Contemporary Artists. The initiative strives to  establish not only another gallery space within the city, but a place of opportunity for the public to discover their personal creative skills, provoke discussion and invigorate and strengthen the local community as a whole.

This exhibition will showcase the work of Aaron Kirk, Adrian McGrath, Aoife Bláthnaid Nolan, Christopher Phelan, Gary Kenneally, Magdalena Karol, Rosemarie Walsh, Ruth Flynn, Sandra Kelly and Sorika Reilly, who are all Visual Arts graduates of the Waterford Institute of Technology. It will display a variety of art forms including paintings, visual projections, sculpture and dance.

The night will feature a solo performance by Karen Hegarty as well as two live performances by Ruth Flynn and Magdalena Karol.

Exhibition will run until December 21st, Thursday to Friday 12-7pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
