Waterford Writers’ Weekend presents a range of panel discussions with expert writers, bloggers and publishers to help you promote your work and grow your profile in the writing and business world. Social media, blogging, self and electronic publishing are growing in popularity, so come along and find out how to use these platforms effectively.

Script and screen writing, short stories publishing and journalism professionals will be advising on best ways to get a start in their area of expertise. Enjoy the buzz of the festival, meet award winning authors and get writing!

 

Making Social Media Work for You

Every writer needs to reach readers, and today social media makes it easier than ever to reach your target market. Whether you are running a small business or promoting a book, this panel will explain how social media works and the tips and tricks to make it work for you. Featuring Ireland’s most successful self publisher Catherine Ryan Howard, with Derbhile Graham, Derek Flynn and Orla Shanaghy.
